With 12 months remaining on the lease the options to consider consisted of subleasing, assigning the lease, or surrendering via a settlement with the landlord.

Solution

 

BJP were engaged to determine the most cost-effective option for Pro-Pac Packaging and manage the process for each option.

Outcome

 

BJP successfully negotiated a surrender of the lease, generating a substantial saving through the settlement when compared to the total occupancy cost remaining on the lease.
